The Birthday Club Gang

It's been a long and fun weekend. It's been over a week since our last post and we've met with so many people in between.

We spent Friday and all day Saturday with our Birthday Club Gang. Marianne, (my best friend that I've known since Kindergarten, maybe even before), her husband Edmund and Jason, (our friend from freshman year in high school). We celebrate everyone's birthday together by the birthday boy/girl picking a restaurant and treating everyone else to a meal. We used to give a free meal to the birthday boy/girl, but decided since we were getting older, we could treat our friends instead of our friends treating us. We've had lots of yummy meals and fun times together. We also enjoy playing Mexican Train and poker (except Marianne) and seeing which mountain we can conquer in Yosemite together. So far we have Half Dome and Yosemite Falls under our belts.



We hung out in Monterey this weekend. It was such a beautiful weekend to be there. We saw the monarch butterflies at Pacific Grove, went on the 17 mile drive, hung out at the Inn at Spanish Bay, and had lunch in Carmel. We couldn't have picked a more perfect weekend. The weather was amazing.

This was our last big outing with the gang and we had a blast. We love you guys and will miss you and fun times like this past weekend so much.
